A little background on the blog title, Brit in Blighty. Brit is twofold...Obviously short for Brittany and also for Britain. Blighty, a word I learned from my lovely landlord, is a slang term Brits use for Britain.
I had originally planned to use my blog as a way to update family and friends on my adventures and day-to-day life in London, travels abroad, and really just a means to have something to look back on and share. I am sure there will be a few wedding posts and other life updates sprinkled about.
I am quite confident there will be many laughs ahead.
Here goes nothing.
